Composing

I really enjoy composing so much, that I want to become a professional composer (or a bard!) in the future. :-) To reach that goal, I'm following extra lessons in musictheory with Euwe de Jong at the Schumann Akademie. This year, I hope to graduate from the SA and Musicology and than... I have to choose between a researchmaster (if there is one) and a study in composition. Together with the violinist and composer Nico Dezaire, I wrote two duet books with English and Irish melodies (I love Celtic!) that are published by De Haske Publications (one with violinduets and one with celloduets). For the violinbooks "Position 2" and "Position Shifting", I also composed "Nick's Little Rabbit" and "Cookie's Song". "At the Party", a piece in the house-/hardcorestyle, also in Position 2, was also composed together with Nico Dezaire. These last two works were also arranged and published for recorder and flute by De Haske Publications with cd's with karaoke- as well as demoversions (by professional musicians) of the pieces included.
